About our insulation contractor team in Tyler
How I got into insulation and why I started here
I learned insulation on a municipal crew, keeping public buildings comfortable and tight. The part I liked best was showing newer crew members why each step mattered, because a step you understand is a step you don't skip. I started this business in Tyler in 2021, and I still work that way. Only now I'm explaining it to homeowners, landlords and small business owners.
Most calls start with something you've noticed: the room over the garage that's hot by afternoon, cold floors, or a power bill that keeps climbing. Before I say what to do, I ask what you've seen. Then I go up in the attic or under the house with you and show you what's there. Sometimes the answer is that your insulation is fine, and I'd rather tell you that than sell you a job you don't need. You can see the rest of what we do on our home page.
Licensed, insured and by the book on permits
Licensed and insured
We're licensed and insured, and that's the first thing to ask any contractor who'll be working above your ceilings or under your floors. Your satisfaction, guaranteed.
City permits handled for you
Inside Tyler city limits, a contractor has to register with the city's permit system, with a copy of their license and proof of insurance, before pulling permits. When a city asks for a permit on your job, we handle the filing and set up the inspections, and if it isn't clear whether yours needs one, we check with that city's office before we start.
Serving Tyler Since 2021
What working with us is like
You see your attic before you decide
I come out myself and walk the attic or crawl space with you, and I point out how many inches are up there now and where the gaps are. That way you understand what you'd be paying for, and why, before you say yes to anything.
Safety checks and sealing come first
We check for soaked or dirty old insulation and buried eave vents, then close up the gaps around lights, pipes and the hatch before any new material goes in. Insulation over an open gap is like wearing a coat with the zipper down, so the order matters more than the depth, and I check the finished work with our installers before we pack up.
We'll tell you if someone else should go first
If the roof is leaking, there's mold, or another trade needs to get in there, I'll say so up front instead of covering it with fresh insulation. Burying a problem just means you end up paying to fix it twice.
